According to a report by TMJ4, the woman bolted to her bedroom and quickly got her firearm. She then sprinted to the hallway to confront the home invader.
“It all happened so fast — an adrenaline rush,” the woman recalled.
Initially, the woman bought the gun for self-defense years ago after she found a man sleeping underneath her son’s bed.
Fast forward to the present, the home invader was attacked by the woman’s two pit bulls. Though the canines could not neutralize the home invader.
This forced the woman to shoot the man multiple times due to the fact “he wouldn’t stop coming”, according to her account of the incident.
Wisconsin is a solid pro-gun state. According to Guns & Ammo magazine, it is ranked in 21st place for best states for gun owners. So, this woman will likely not face any punishment due to the fact she carried out a legitimate act of self-defense.
Cases of defensive gun use occur on a daily basis. The individuals defending themselves or their loved ones in these instances are the unsung heroes of the Second Amendment community. They give the right to bear arms a good reputation and show why this liberty is so important.
Hopefully, more people grasp the importance of this concept.
